DayZ Update 1.07 Patch Notes – Livonia DLC

DayZ has received Update 1.07. You can now download Update 1.07 for DayZ on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The download and install size of Update 1.07 on the PS4 will be 9.2 GB. Please take note that depending on the platform you are using, the size of the download may also be different.

You will find that Update 1.07 of DayZ is quite a big update. A few things have been added like the fact that Xbox and PS4 players can now use their mouse and keyboard on the servers. The Vaiga, Blaze, Kolt 1911, and BK-43 are all now available in your weapons arsenal.

The long-awaited Livonia DLC is also available in Update 1.07. According to Bohemia Interactive, it is a map that seeks to deliver a fresh experience to your survival game. It is worth mentioning that Livonia is a paid DLC. This map includes a lot of materials that anyone can use even if they have not bought the map.

Based on the mod developed for Arma 2, Bohemia Interactive immerses us in a survival game. The objective of the player is to look for weapons, medicines and water to not only survive, but also to end the hordes of violent enemies. The survival component is mixed with the online multiplayer in a title loaded with nonstop action. Below you will find the complete list of DayZ patch notes.

  • The Bears, new kings of the forest, have started to roam Chernarus and Livonia.
  • Fishing is the new way to relax, catch junk, and occasionally some fish.
  • The Vaiga, Blaze, Kolt 1911, and BK-43 are now available to diversify your arsenal.
  • If you want a green Ada or a black Gunter 2, it’s in store.
  • Xbox and PS4 players can now use their mouse and keyboard on the servers identified as supporting them (the gamepad is always available on all servers).

Bohemia made the below announcement regarding server owners on PC.

Server Owners. There are no pre-requirements to host your own Livonia server, any server can run this terrain as well as Chernarus; Joining a Livonia server requires to own the Livonia DLC. To complete the blacklist feature, server owners now can run their servers with a whitelist; when a player is added to the whitelist, he gains the ability to join the server, whereas he loses it and gets kicked when removed from the list.
