Dying Light Update 1.22 Patch Notes – Bug Fixes

Dying Light has received Update 1.22. You can now download Update 1.22 on PC. You will find that Patch 1.22 of Dying Light is quite a small update as there are only three confirmed fixes. Something that stands out is that they fixed the stability of the game, so PC players can now enjoy a more stable environment.

Dying Light is an open world game in which the player finds himself in a vast urban environment in the purest Dead Island style. The first person and the experience of the studio in this type of proposals makes this a title in which infected and predators will ensure that the hunter is the hunted. Below you will find the complete list of Dying Light Update 1.22 patch notes.

  • Borderless Window Option for Windows PC – you can now play Dying Light in borderless mode. You will find this option in Options -> Video -> Turn Off Full Screen -> Borderless Window
  • We fixed crash on drop attack on Linux and Mac
  • We improved the overall stability of the game

A few months ago, Dying Light was four years old since its successful premiere. Since then, the game has seen several updates and millions of players with whom it has been a success for Techland. A while ago Techland showed for the first time an extensive gameplay without cuts or touch-ups to show the novelties and playability of Dying Light 2.

The gameplay shown, which you can see below, brings out the benefits of this new installment. The video focuses on one mission, and also shows the combat against both human and zombie enemies, parkour and playable options and narratives of the main protagonists. As explained, this time we will have many more options in the missions, so that the course of events is altered and different doors are opened from the playable point of view.

Specifically, in the mission shown different options were given to finish it, and the one chosen by the studio is one that opens the world to a completely new area that has new enemies, movements and mechanics. And, besides all this, it carries the narrative through a concrete channel that allows us to discover more about the city and the characters.

Another novelty that has been brought to light is the greater complexity of the work. On the one hand, weapons and parkour movements have been included that, in addition, are now combined with each other. There are weapons that serve both long and short range and have specific movements that we can use in combat.

On the other hand, the inclusion of different factions with which we can collaborate give many new perspectives on the world of Dying Light 2 and allow us to create even more options.

I remind you that Techland’s Dying Light released on January 28, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
