In other news, the negative opinions generated by Dead or Alive 6 have impacted its sales and after its launch last March, this new delivery accounts for more than 300,000 copies sold, good numbers but that, apparently, are below the expectations of Koei Tecmo.

During the presentation of its recent financial report, Koei Tecmo revealed that Dead or Alive 6 has sold 350,000 copies worldwide since March 1 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Unfortunately, this amount is below the initial sales of its predecessor, Dead or Alive 5, which debuted in 2012 on PS3 and Xbox 360, recording sales for 580,000 copies.

Although Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have not disclosed the costs of production and promotion of Dead or Alive 6, it is feared that the sales of this delivery are not meeting the objectives in financial matters, which makes one wonder if there is the possibility of a new franchise title in the future.

However, it is worth mentioning that, at least in terms of support, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have maintained their commitment to constant updates. I remind you that Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s Dead or Alive 6 released on March 1, 2019 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
