Silicobra or the Sand Snake, is a Ground Type Pokemon in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It is found in Route 6 (Non Overworld) and during Max Raid Battles: Dusty Bowl.
It digs throw sand and stores it in its neck pouch, which is capable of holding 17 pounds of sand. As it encounters an adversary, it releases the sand from its nostrils which makes the adversary blind. Once the adversary is blind, Silicobra takes full advantage of this situation and goes underground to hide.
Silicobra is considered to have an impressive overall Base stat of 315 which includes: 57 Attack, 35 Special Attack,75, Defense, 50 Special Defense, 52 HP and 46 Speed Max IV Stats.
Silicobra is well known for its three unique abilities, one of which is a hidden ability.
- Sand Spit: it allows Silicobra to create a sandstorm when hit by an attack.
- Shed Skin: When using the Shed Skin ability, is has a 1/3 chance in recovering from Burn, Paralysis, Sleep, Poison, Freeze.
- Sand Veil: this is a hidden ability that increases Silicobra’s Evasion during a sandstorm.
At level 36, Silicobra evolves into Sandaconda. Sandaconda is pretty much the same Pokemon but it is quite strong as compared to its normal form. It is capable of swirling more than a million tons of sand around its body.
