In Pokemon Sword and Shield, there is a new “ascension” mechanic through which players can get the Gigantamax version of various Pokemon, get new abilities and a cool, giant appearance for their Pokemon. In this guide, we will tell you how you can get your hands on a Gigantamax Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
How to Get Gigantamax Eevee
As we talked about earlier in relation to Gigantamax Pikachu, to get a Gigantamax Eevee you first need to have a Special Eevee. There are once again two methods to get a Special Eevee.
You can either find a Special Eevee while roaming and searching through the Wild Area of Pokemon Sword and Shield. It might take a while, after your initial 2 hour travel time to Wild Area Station, but the grind will be worth it as Gigantamax version has a special attack and a giant appearance as the name suggests.
If you own Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee on Nintendo Switch and have a save file attached to your account, you can also get a Special Eevee that way and then transform it. Keep in mind that this only gives you Special Eevee and if you want Special Pikachu as well you need to have both versions of the game.
After transforming your Eevee will get G-Max Cuddle move. This move is going to be much more powerful and stronger than before. The Gigantamaxed version of this move will infatuate opponents, who are of the opposite gender.
