Any Persona fan will likely tell you that a big part of what makes the games so memorable is the music, and Atlus appears to be aware of this. A leak on Twitter has shown that a Persona 5 Scramble save bonus will be available on both Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Persona 5 Scramble is yet another spinoff game in the Persona series, switching genres from an RPG game to a musou game a la Dynasty Warriors and its own various spinoffs. Various other Persona spinoff games have included the Persona: Dancing rhythm games and the Persona Q puzzle games.
The Persona 5 Scramble save bonus, according to the leak, will allow players to gain a Persona 5 Sound Set, which will give them two songs, Persona 5’s “Last Surprise” and Persona 5 Royal’s “Take Over”, to use as battle music in Scramble.
However, there are requirements for you to be able to get the sound set. For those of you that will be playing Scramble on the Playstation 4, you’ll need save data from Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal to get the sound back. If you play the game on the Nintendo Switch, you’ll have to have a history of playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Persona 5 Royal released on Halloween last week, so no matter what sort of Persona you play on either console, you’ll be prepared for when Scramble comes out. If you haven’t played Persona 5 yet, whether because you haven’t gotten around to it or because you were waiting for Royal to come out, you still have around four months to finish it before Scramble releases.
You’ll be able to pick up both the Persona 5 Scramble save bonus and Persona 5 Scramble itself when the game releases on February 20 of 2020 for both the Playstation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. If you’ve not been into musou games before, but are a Persona fan, now’s the perfect time to try them out.
