Borderlands 3 Loot Ghosts
There are three types of Ghosts in Borderlands 3 during the Halloween event
- Green Ghost: Normal Ghost
- Red Ghost: Badass
- Orange/Yellow: Loot Ghost
There is a big number of enemies that are going to be surrounded by the Green aura which shows that the enemy is being haunted by the Normal Ghost.
Then there are enemies which are going to be surrounded by the Red aura. This means that they are being haunted by a stronger ghost which is Badass.
Then the last category is of the enemies which are surrounded by the Orange aura, these are your enemies who are being haunted by the Loot Ghost.
Loot Ghost is the ghost that is going to provide you with the loot upon killing them. These ghosts do not have a specific location rather they spawn in random places and on completely random times.
When you see an enemy with the orange glow around them, it is best that you kill them quickly and then a ghost, with a yellowish color, is going to spawn. If you kill the ghost as well, you are going to get a lot of loot in return.
There is a possibility that when you are in between battling the Ghost, you might be inflicted with the Terror debuff which is going to mess with your vision and weapon. By using the Terror mechanic, you can use the debuff on enemies all around you.
An Eye for Quality Hektoplasm challenge requires you to kill around twenty loot ghost which is going to complete the challenge. As mentioned above, the time and location of the ghost are going to be completely random so you just have to keep playing the game to grind the event, find loot ghosts and kill them for the challenge and your reward.
