Part of the fun of any RPG that has a character creator is being able to share your creations with your friends and other gamers around the world. The Nioh 2 character creator is no exception, and it will allow you to upload your character so that other people can use them.
The Nioh sequel (or rather, prequel, according to the game’s story synopsis) was first announced back at E3 in 2018, as one of three different samurai games that made appearances, including Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Ghost of Tsushima.
Nioh 2 is rather different from the original game in a number of ways, but so far the most prominent one is that this time, you won’t be playing a preset character in the form of the Irishman, William. Instead, you’ll be making your own character to play through the game with.
Being a sequel, Nioh 2 will have a large number of other differences as well. New enemies, new bosses, and new moves to use with the game’s wide variety of different weapons. Considering this is a prequel to the original game, there’s no telling what we’ll run into.
The game also got a closed alpha on the Playstation 4 back in May, and a beta will be getting released at the beginning of November to allow Koei-Tecmo to get player feedback. If you haven’t experienced the Nioh 2 character creator yet, then would likely be the best time.
However, what it appears Nioh 2 doesn’t have is a release date. Much like Ghost of Tsushima, the game has not had a definitive release date announced, though unlike Tsushima it at least has a release window, as it’s scheduled to come out sometime in 2020.
Either way, you can find more information about the Nioh 2 character creator elsewhere on our site, and otherwise just wait until the game has an actual release date sometime in the future.
