The Outer Worlds Mind Control Ray Location Guide

This guide will help you find the illusive mind control ray in The Outer Worlds to turn your enemies into allies for a short time

Mind Control Ray is one of the unique science weapons in The Outer Worlds which players can use for some interesting effects on their enemies. Of course, finding these science weapons requires a bit of legwork and that is where this guide comes in.

The Outer Worlds Mind Control Ray

To get the Mind Control Ray weapon in The Outer World, you must complete a side quest. It is not like other science weapons in the game that you can simply pick up from a certain location.

To start the process of getting this weapon in The Outer World, first of all, you will need to travel to the Fallbrook Landing Pad in Monarch. Once there, head inside Duncan’s shop in Fallbrook.

Talk to him, and he will send you on a side quest to Groundbreaker. On the Groundbreaker, you will need to talk to Lilya Hagen in Sublight Salvage and Shipping.

She will send you on a side quest called Space-Crime Continuum for finding her agent, and you can get the passcode from the agent’s body.

Once you have done that, you will need to get back to Fallbrook and talk to Catherine. She will send you to Rizzo Secret Laboratory in Cascadia.

There you have to utilize a terminal and encounter the robot after that. You can use the passcode to protect yourself.

You can go to the end of the lab, where you will see a lift going back to the surface. Get close to the left and look right. There you will see a gap that you can cross by jumping. This will take you to a ladder.

Climb the ladder, and then you will see another platform in front of you with a ladder. Jump there and again use the ladder for going up. Once you climb the two ladders, you will find your weapon, the Mind Control Ray, next to a big fan.

The gun deals plasma damage and controls both organic and automechanical targets, and turns your enemies into friendlies for a short time period. If you increase your Science skill, then that improves the movement and attack rate of those who are being controlled thus increasing overall damage.
