We are 2 weeks away from Death Stranding finally releasing exclusively for PlayStation 4. Something that is already confirmed is that several celebrities will appear in the game as non-playable characters, such as Geoff Keighley and Conan O’Brien.
After knowing this, several players wonder what other celebrities were invited and recently it was confirmed that Cliff Bleszinski and Cory Barlog will not be part of the project. The revelation was via Twitter, after Hideo Kojima announced that comedian O’Brien was invited to Kojima Productions to be scanned and later included in the game.
On this platform, Bleszinski revealed that he rejected Kojima’s invitation to appear in the game. But do not think it was because he did not want it, but this happened because the invitation came to the old designer of Gears of War at an unfortunate moment in his life, because he was in the middle of the problems with Boss Key Productions studio.
They made it difficult to visit Kojima’s studio. He also made the following statement.
He asked me to come get scanned when I was in Japan but it was as BKP was nearly over and I was starting my “lay low” phase and opted out. Kinda regret it.
Another creative who will not be in Death Stranding is the director of God of War (2018), Cory Barlog. In fact, it was he who started the conversation by asking who would not be in the game.
Unlike Bleszinski, Barlog was not invited and to joke commented that he is available for any type of video game, movie or other presentation production, taking into account that he participated in the documentary of his own game. This comes as a surprise, because at the end of last year he was at Kojima Productions, which made many think that he would be included as an npc.
I would like to point out to the directors and casting peeps, im available for all your acting needs. Check out my movie. I was able to act like I knew what I was doing THE WHOLE TIME! I would be perfect for your game, movie, show, or Gap Kids brochure.
In other news, as we get closer to the date of its release, more details of Death Stranding come to light naturally. Recently it was the turn of something essential to be able to play it, the installation size, so, if you are interested in the game, we invite you to check the information below so you can prepare for its launch.
Although there is still no official information on the PlayStation Store, a promotional image that appeared in Best Buy details that it will be necessary for the user to have at least 55 GB of free storage on their hard drive. As you can see, it is a considerable weight, but nothing out of the ordinary in relation to high level productions.
To put the weight of Death Stranding into context, we remind you that Gears 5 requires 61.21 GB of space to install and Borderlands 3 asks for 40.06 GB free on the hard drive, as read in the Microsoft store.
I remind you that Death Stranding will be available from November 8 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
