Death Stranding is Coming to BAFTA London

A few days back, Kojima Productions announced that there’s a Death Stranding World Tour happening in the weeks leading to the game’s launch. Almost a dozen cities all over the world will welcome Hideo Kojima and special Death Stranding guests. Interestingly, London is one of those cities, with the venue being the British Academy of Art, Film, and Television (BAFTA).

The Death Stranding World Tour will begin on October 30th with a special event in Paris, France. Kojima Productions has already confirmed that it will also visit cities such as London, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Taipei, and Seoul.

If you happen to be in London on November 1st, you might be able to score a visit to BAFTA in order to see Hideo Kojima, Nicolas Winding Refn and more talk about video games, movies and more.

The fact alone that Kojima will present Death Stranding at such a profound establishment proves that his game is a form of art. Even if we doubt the hype that is gathered around its name right now, people tied to the project swear by its name.

If you still want to see the presentation for the Death Stranding World Tour in London, keep an eye at BAFTA’s Twitter profile for more information as the days approach. The announcement confirms that there will be a livestream for those not present at the venue. We don’t know if actors from the cast will be there like Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus, Margaret Qualley or Lindsey Wagner. We do hope to see some of them though.

In related news, the file size for Death Stranding has been revealed. You’ll need 55GB of storage in order to install the game on your Playstation 4. That is, if you wish to buy it digitally. Why not add it to your collection though? It’s not frequent for a Kojima game to release and when it does it is pretty much loved by everyone and becomes collectible instantly. At least that’s what we know about his previous Metal Gear Solid games.

To convince those who insist on going “digital”, a new Death Stranding Higgs Edition is available for pre-purchase. Joining the previously announced Sam Bridges variant, the Higgs variant, comes with an exclusive sleeve that features the character with metallic and embossed detailing.

Death Stranding releases on November 8, 2019, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
