As the release date comes closer and closer, we have to come to terms that spoilers about Death Stranding will hit us like bricks. This one is merely a spoiler, while it includes the Death Stranding title screen.
Seeing the title screen for Kojima Productions’ upcoming title for the first time, it doesn’t come as a surprise that it’s clean and minimalistic at sight. The background is the classic shore scene we’ve seen in the first trailer along with the Death Stranding logo.
The menu includes the standard Continue, New Game, Load Game, and Options. Also, an Open Source Licenses tab can be found on the bottom. If you want to see it for yourself, proceed here.
What’s interesting about the Death Stranding title screen is what can be done with it. If we travel a few years back to when Metal Gear Solid 5 released, we again had a minimalistic title screen.
However, back then, you could see dynamic changes to Big Boss altering it in various different ways. Could that be the case for Death Stranding too? We’d love to see the dead see slowly terraforming to a livelier place, as you connect more cities and get closer to fulfilling Sam’s work.
A quick reminder that review codes for Death Stranding will be handed out in the days to come. Note that, you might encounter spoilers. The embargo lifts on November 1st, so you have to be extra careful for a month if you want to experience the game without any setbacks.
Until then, Kojima Productions has announced a marketing tour for their upcoming IP. The Death Stranding World Tour will begin on October 30 with a special event in Paris, France.
The studio has already confirmed that it will also visit London, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, and more. We highly doubt that we’ll get more information about the game then. However, we might get some more insight into its gameplay or characters.
Death Stranding releases on November 8, 2019, exclusively for PlayStation 4. Stay tuned to SegmentNext for more news and guides when the game officially releases.
