Call of Duty 2020 Will Be A Black Ops And Is Having Development Problems

The Call of Duty of 2020 will be a Black Ops and is being developed by Treyarch after Sledgehammer Games was partially relegated from that responsibility. It also seems that it is having development problems.

The same source that revealed reliable information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) before its presentation ensures that they have not yet decided on the name of the game.

Twitter user TheGamingRevolution, who has already revealed details of the new Modern Warfare before the official announcements, has been asked on the social network about next year’s delivery.

Current state is 3/10. It’s name is still being thrown around between “BO5” and “Black Ops” or another Black Ops themed name.

Another rumor, from August of this year, ensures that the next Black Ops will be a reboot that will take players to the Cold War in a game more “stark” than the next Modern Warfare.

The Call of Duty saga is launched annually, but the studios that develop these games are rotating. Infinity Ward, the creators of the series, is in charge of the Modern Warfare saga. Treyarch developed several deliveries, including the Black Ops saga. Sledgehammer Games directed Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII.

The latter were responsible for the delivery of 2020, but Activision Blizzard, the publisher of the game, relieved them of the post and gave the project to Treyarch due to internal tensions, generational console changes and alleged conflicts with the business model.

Sledgehammer Games have not been totally removed from development. The Californian studio together with Raven Software (who have also dealt with various contents in several games of the saga) will address the campaign mode of the next Call of Duty.

The official announcement of that game is still on the horizon. Activision usually gives the first details of the next installments of the saga in May.

There is no doubt that one of the most anticipated releases of the month is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, a delivery that promises to refresh the annual Activision series. To get excited about what it will offer and put the adrenaline to the fullest, the distributor showed it in its launch trailer.

The video that Activision shared begins by making it clear that the rules have changed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. After this they let us see some action scenes that, we imagine, belong to the game’s campaign.

This is footage that will make the fans of the Modern Warfare series thrilled, since it features a lot of Captain Price and has many shots and explosions.

Without further ado we leave you with the launch trailer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feature a campaign that promises to include tense scenes, and a multiplayer that promises to revolutionize with its great battles for 64 players and even more. Special Operations mode also returns, although Survival will be exclusive to PS4 for one year.

I remind you that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will arrive on PC (Battle.net), PS4 and Xbox One on October 25.
