This guide includes multiple playable Greedfall builds for you to test out till you find your preferred playstyle in the game.

Greedfall lets players explore and create several different and unique builds, owing to its robust suite of character progression systems. From Mage builds to Melee-focused builds, you can create a character that fits your playstyle and needs.

In this guide, we’ll explore several different builds you can use in Greedfall. We’ll be covering everything from Skills and Attributes down to the best weaponry and armor, so without further ado, let’s get into it.

Gun (Loose Cannon) Build

The Loose Cannon build in Greedfall is centered around guns and bombs, maximizing your abilities as a “loose cannon”. For this build, start with the Technical class. This class comes with the following skills; Set Traps, Firearms, and One-Handed Blades. Firearms lets you use Firearms while Set Traps lets you place alchemical preparations on the ground as traps. One-handed blades make you proficient in one-handed blades.

Attributes

For this build, focus primarily on Accuracy to increase the power of your firearms and potions and Agility for increased melee damage. Make Strength your third priority to further increase your melee damage potency.

Weapons

While your gun will be the main weapon for this build, you’ll still need to carry swords. Since you won’t be putting any points into the Warrior tree, pick the One-handed sword with the highest physical damage. Make use of any of the following guns:

Attributes

For the Mage build, put your attribute points into Mental Power and Willpower. The former increases the strength of your spells while the latter increases your magic points and increases the duration of spells. Endurance should be your third priority to increase your life and balance.

The Warrior build is centered around Melee combat, as such you’ll be engaging in close quarters combat with minimal reliance on magic. Choose the Warrior class to get started. This class comes with the following starting Skills; One-Handed Blades and One-Handed Heavy Blades, which allow you to use one-handed weapons. The Firearms skill lets you use pistols.

This Hybrid build in Greedfall aims to capture the strengths of both the Technical and Warrior classes to make the most overpowered build in the game. You’ll essentially be combining the melee abilities of the warrior class and the poison and trap abilities of the technician. You can start with either the Technician class or the Warrior class.
