Bethesda Softworks and McFarlane Toys are joining forces to give the demon-hunting machine the respect (and attention) that he fully deserves. The Doom Slayer is receiving his own action figure that’s not only fit to join your collectibles but also to close any nightmarish portals in the room.
According to a press release, the highly detailed Doom Slayer figure is modelled after his most recent game iteration. He stands 7 inches tall but unfortunately, does not come with any special diorama base. The figure, however, does come with a few accessories. You can slap on his extended arm blade attachment as well as equip him with the Super Shotgun, complete with a Meat Hook upgrade.
Coming to poses, the Doom Slayer figure has “ultra articulation” with 22 moving parts in total. The material used is all plastic. So you might need to be a bit careful when trying to bend his limbs. You wouldn’t want to injure the Space Marine.
Making the whole deal even sweeter, Bethesda Softworks and McFarlane Toys are offering a limited edition bronze variant that looks just glorious. Both it and the standard variant can be pre-ordered right now from the official Bethesda Gear Store for $22.
The standard variant is scheduled to ship out at the end of October, while the bronze variant will follow at the end of November this year. It goes without saying that supplies are going to be limited. Hence, if you’re interested, it’s wise to secure the Doom Slayer figure as soon as possible.
It’s chaos either way this fall because Doom Eternal is all set to arrive on November 22. There was even a massive leak earlier this month by an alleged game tester who dropped details about the plot, cosmetics, and a certain scene that fans have been asking for decades. Take heed that there might be spoilers before jumping in.
