Call of Duty Mobile Releasing Almost a Month Before Modern Warfare

If you are tired of waiting for Modern Warfare you have two options right now, the PC beta that begins tomorrow or wait for the new Call of Duty Mobile. The creators of Call of Duty have announced the release date for the awaited mobile Call of Duty.

The game is releasing on Android and iOS on October 1. Call of Duty Mobile is developed by Tencent’s Timi Studio. Call of Duty on iOS and Android is free-to-play and comes with the standard multiplayer experience.

According to Timi studio, there will be time-limited events. But the most exciting feature of the new mobile game is Battle Royale.

Battle Royale mode is a unique take on the genre from within the Call of Duty universe, specifically built and tailored for Call of Duty: Mobile. Up to 100 combatants will fight for survival in a map designed exclusively for the mobile title featuring locations from across the Call of Duty franchise in solos, duos or four-person teams. Players can battle across land, sea and air with vehicles including an ATV, helicopter, and tactical raft, while finding and equipping gear and weapons that span the series.

As for the regular multiplayer mode, Call of Duty offers the traditional team deathmatch, Search and Destroy, Free for All, and more.

Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked are some of the maps coming to the mobile version of Call of Duty. Moreover, classic Call of Duty characters such as Soap McTavish, Simon “Ghost” Riley, and even Alex Mason from the Black Ops series.

The content should help ease the pain of waiting for Modern Warfare which is releasing on October 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The PC beta is coming your way tomorrow if you pre-ordered the game, otherwise wait till Friday.
