If you are a PlayStation 4 player, you don’t need to down extra data. Your current weekend 1 file will work just fine, of course, that is if you haven’t removed it from your HDD. Your stats will transfer between weekend 1 and weekend 2. However, beta stats won’t carry over to the final build of the game.

Xbox One and PC players can pre-order the game to get access to the Modern Warfare beta starting September 17 between 10AM PT and 11AM PT.

The most exciting feature this time around is the availability of crossplay. Players across all platform will be able to play with each other. Infinity Ward will release more information about the crossplay feature prior to the game’s release.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27. Pre-orders for the game are live across the globe except for Russia where the game is reportedly banned.
