Hideo Kojima Already Has Something In Mind For His Next Project After Death Stranding

Hideo Kojima is already completing the preparations for his trip to Japan for the celebration of the Tokyo Game Show 2019.

The Japanese creative, who is in the final stretch of the development of his first project after Konami, Death Stranding, will not stop once the title is released. According to a recent Twitter post, he is already thinking about his next project.

Polishing the game while preparing things for TGS, and promotions after that as well as for the next project. I want to become a crab.

The birth of Kojima Productions came as a high-budget study, with offices within reach of very few development teams, which suggested that their intention was none other than to start working at a high rate.

Now it seems to be clearer that Death Stranding will be the beginning of a list of games, where Hideo Kojima continues to grow as a video game director after his work with the Metal Gear series.

Through their Twitter account, Kojima Productions confirmed that they will be at the Tokyo Game Show 2019, where they will reveal more Death Stranding gameplay. The first presentation will take place on September 12 and will last about 50 minutes, so it seems that a lot of content will be shown.

On September 14, there will be a similar presentation, with an estimated duration of 30 minutes. And finally, a day later, the Japanese voice actors will meet and talk on stage with Hideo Kojima.

It is possible that we will also see the off-screen briefing trailer at the Tokyo Game Show 2019 that was leaked a few weeks ago. This was exclusive content from Gamescom 2019 in which we can see a little more about our goal in Death Stranding.

This trailer shows us Sam Bridges, the protagonist of Death Stranding played by Norman Reedus, in a meeting with two of the main characters of the creation of Hideo Kojima: Amelie and Die-Hardman.

In the meeting, there is also being discussed to Sam about his mission of traveling throughout the West and reconnecting the terminals of the Chiral Network that have been scattered throughout the vast territory that the United States of America represents.

The Tokyo Game Show 2019 will take place from September 12 to 15.

Hideo Kojima has repeatedly stressed that his long-awaited Death Stranding will create his own genre, just as the Metal Gear Solid saga did in its origins. This is one of the reasons why the Japanese creative has recognized that even now, a few weeks before its launch on PS4, he still does not quite understand the scope of his new video game.

We also recently learned that Death Stranding will be an accessible experience for everyone, as it will even feature a mode for inexperienced players. Kojima said that his new project will avoid the mistakes of Metal Gear Solid V and that it will focus on the narrative.

Death Stranding goes on sale for the PS4 on November 8.
