Red Dead Online is getting its own battle pass, which in this case is called an Outlaw Pass that works in similar fashion to unlock a vast assortment of rewards. However, you don’t necessarily have to purchase one if you’re in the mood of a good old fashioned grind.
On September 10, 2019, you will automatically be enrolled into the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club for free. From there, all you have to do is continue playing Red Dead Online and acquire as much experience points as possible to unlock numerous rewards such as clothes, accessories, tonics, gun wraps, bonus cash, and more. The free club membership will last until November 18, 2019, and anything unlocked in-between will be yours to keep for good.
The Outlaw Pass is basically an upgrade to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club, which will be available for purchase on the same September 10, 2019, date. Having an Outlaw Pass will immediately unlock all rewards tied to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club, as well as open up access to more and exclusive rewards such as distinctive armaments, adornment for campsites, special vouchers, and more. You’ll similarly get to keep whatever you unlock after the Outlaw Pass expires on November 18, 2019.
The Outlaw Pass costs 35 Gold Bars and you’ll have 70 ranks to level up. As an additional incentive, you’ll be able to earn your 35 Gold Bars back while progressing. These, you can either spend straight away or save to purchase the next battle pass of Red Dead Online.
The Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club and Outlaw Pass are part of the acclaimed Frontier Pursuits update, which will add three new Specialist Roles in Red Dead Online. You can choose to be bounty hunters, traders, or collectors. They each have their own paths and activities. Fulfilling these roles in the best way will earn you experience that in turn will help you rank up in the profession. With progress, you’ll get to learn new skills and gain new items to use in Red Dead Online.
The Frontier Pursuits, which drops alongside the Outlaw Pass, will also add a variety of improvements and features. These include more responsive controls for movement and combat, new challenges, new dynamic events, additional Stable and custom outfit slots, the ability to name saved Outfits in your wardrobe, gun balancing and more.
