Gears 5 Abilities Locations Guide – Assault, Passive, Support, How to Unlock Ultimate Abilities

Jack, the hovering robot, in Gears of War 5 has a set of various abilities that are to be unlocked and brought to use during the campaign. Jack’s Gears 5 abilities can be categorized into three types i.e. Assault, Passive, Support.

Gears 5 Abilities Locations

Health Passive Increase Jack’s max health and allows him to heal others.
Stealth Passive Increases Jack’s innate stealth abilities.
Zapper Passive Increases the damage of Jack’s primary weapon.

Upgrading Abilities

You are allowed to upgrade Jack’s abilities multiple times to magnify their effects and results.

Moreover, the Assault and Support abilities are allowed to have Ultimate Upgrades as well which can be earned or performed once you complete the side missions.

One needs to gather Components to upgrade Jack’s abilities. Components are spread and hidden all over the place, particularly found in various crannies or nooks. In total, there are 289 Components.

You can select abilities that you want to upgrade in the Jack menu and by further choosing the specific upgrade that you desire.

You can get this ability during Act 1, Chapter 2 as part of the game’s storyline. The following are its upgrades:
