One of the more interesting bits of DLC that Ubisoft has put out for Assassin’s Creed games is the Assassin’s Creed Origins Discovery Tour. Now that Odyssey has all of its own DLC out, an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Discovery Tour is hot on its heels, and will be coming out September 10.
The Assassin’s Creed Origins Discovery Tour was an educational tool given to every owner of Assassins Creed Origins as free DLC. It allowed players to take a walk around the game’s map of Ptolemaic Egypt to learn about the culture without fighting bandits or wild animals.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will likely be the same way, helping interested gamers to be able to learn more about Ancient Greece in the time period of the game, during the Peloponnesian War where the Greek city states of Sparta and Athens fought for dominance over the country.
The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Discovery Tour will be free for every owner of the game, so you don’t have to pay to learn anything about the setting. And, if you haven’t gotten enough exposure to Greek culture, this will be a great way to pass the time in an educational way.
While there likely won’t be as much content to go through for Odyssey, considering that the game map there is comprised of a lot more water than the Origins map was, there may yet still be a lot of different things on the actual islands to make up the difference.
Adding all of the various bits of Greek mythology that are also included into the game, such as Medusa, the Minotaur, and more, however, could actually give out even more content considering the vast amount of lore and legends that are included in Greek myths.
Either way, you can download the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Discover Tour on September 10 when it comes out on all of the game’s platforms.
