Keith David Will Reprise His Role As Spawn In Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack DLC

The hype for Mortal Kombat 11’s upcoming Kombat Pack DLC is at an all-time high. We already know that Terminator T-800, Sindel, The Joker are coming to the game with the Kombat Pack, but we recently got new information regarding Spawn who will be coming to Mortal Kombat 11 in March 2020. Spawn will be voiced by Keith David in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack DLC.

In a Tweet made to his account earlier today, Keith David announced that he will be reprising his role as Spawn in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 DLC Kombat Pack.

Keith originally voiced Al Simmons / Spawn in 1997 Todd McFarlane’s Spawn animated series. The show ran from 1997 to 1999 for 18 episodes. He is considered a legend when it comes to voice actors in video games. David has voiced characters for video games for almost 22 years now. With memorable characters such as Sgt. Foley from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and David Anderson from Mass Effect 2, Keith David is the perfect voice for Spawn in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 DLC Kombat Pack.

We started getting teasers for Spawn in Mortal Kombat 11 earlier this year and still, not a lot is known about what his gameplay is going to be like once he is made available in the Kombat Pack. We did see him in the recent Kombat Pack trailer but we didn’t see him in action so we don’t know what his movesets are going to be and how Keith David will voice him.

In any case, it is great news that Keith David is coming back as the voice for Spawn and the hype for Mortal Kombat 11’s DLC Kombat Pack couldn’t be higher.

Spawn will be arriving in Mortal Kombat 11’s DLC Kombat Pack on March 17th, 2019. Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Google Stadia version in development.
