In a post made on its website, Capcom revealed that the legendary Elder Dragon Velkhana will soon be coming to Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta has been out for a while now and we have been enjoying slaying some of its monsters. Capcom has expanded the Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta now with this recent addition a fourth challenge and it’s a big one, Velkhana.
In addition to the website post, Capcom also posted a short trailer on YouTube and Twitter which kind of shows how Velkhana will look and what the gameplay will be like while slaying the Elder Dragon in Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta.

Here’s when PS4 and Xbox One owners can get their hands on Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta and get a chance to slay the Elder Dragon Velkhana:
PlayStation 4 Beta
- Starts: August 30 at 12:01 a.m. PT
- Ends: September 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT
Xbox One Beta
- Starts: September 2 at 12:01 a.m. PT
- Ends: September 4 at 11:59 p.m. PT
Just quite recently, we got a new trailer for Horizon: Zero Dawn’s star, Aloy, who will be coming in Monster Hunter: World Iceborne. There’s a catch though, Since Horizon: Zero Dawn was a PlayStation 4 exclusive, only PS4 players will be able to play as Aloy.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches September 10 for consoles. The PC version of Iceborne will have to wait since it’s planned for a later date—January 2020. PlayStation 4 players will be able to battle Velkhana in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne sooner than Xbox One players.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches on PS4 and Xbox One September 6, with the PC release to follow in 2020.
