An Off-Screen Briefing Trailer Of Death Stranding Delves Into The Main Mission

Death Stranding will be released in just over a couple of months and Hideo Kojima’s Kojima Productions aims to blow away millions of players worldwide with their narrative design.

The new work of Kojima Productions will take us on a trip with Sam Bridges, in which we must try to reconnect a fragmented society. Now, we know a little more about the main mission of the game.

With this being said, we will then share a video (via Gematsu) of exclusive content from Gamescom 2019 in which we can see a little more about our goal in Death Stranding:

Thus, the off-screen briefing trailer in question shows us Sam Bridges, the protagonist of Death Stranding played by Norman Reedus, in a meeting with two of the main characters of the creation of Hideo Kojima: Amelie and Die-Hardman.

In the meeting, there is also being discussed to Sam about his mission of traveling throughout the West and reconnecting the terminals of the Chiral Network that have been scattered throughout the vast territory that the United States of America represents.

As has been pointed out, the main theme of the game is to connect everything that has been isolated, and if we carry out the specified work towards the terminals, it will be precisely what we will achieve.

However, in an interesting twist of the narrative, it is Sam Bridges himself who refuses to accept such a mission, showing that he will never relate to anyone again – including the showed characters. In this sense, it seems that we will accompany the protagonist in an adventure in which he must face his fears.

We remind you that Death Stranding will be released on November 8 for PlayStation 4, and Hideo Kojima promises to keep its story as a central point despite the great open world.

In this article you will find more details about how this perspective has been changed concerning the work done in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
