Borderlands 3 Endgame Details Are Coming Today, Will There be Raids?

A big selling point of any video game out there is its life expectancy. How long after you finished a game will you still be playing it? Gearbox Software aims to answer that question with the Borderlands 3 EndGame reveal at Gamescom 2019 tomorrow.

You can find the officially confirmed line-up of Gamescom 2019 reveals here:

This includes high profile stuff like Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding and even Cyberpunk 2077. Borderlands 3 definitely has a lot to compete with.

What exactly is Endgame content though? In video games, it refers to activities players can do upon completion of the main game itself. Endgame content is a staple element of any kind of RPG or multiplayer video game. Borderlands 3 counts as both so naturally, the Borderlands 3 Endgame is a big point of interest.

Raids are pretty popular in typical endgame content. Safe to say we, can expect some sort of Raid or Raids to be added into Borderlands 3. After all, players should have some place they can invest all their high powered weapons and abilities they get by the end of the main story.

This isn’t to say that the base Borderlands 3 will be lacking story in any way. In fact, we’ve been told by Gearbox Software that the narrative is actually surprising. Borderlands 1 and 2 haven’t failed to impress with the presentation of their stories either. My only issue was with the games being a bit slow in some of their pacing segments.

But okay, back to topic. Post-Launch DLC is also included in expanding the Borderlands 3 life span further along down the line. That content alone will be adding more to the Borderlands 3 Endgame. We can also expect to see new characters and perhaps an NG+ game mode addition as well. All will be revealed at Gamescom 2019 today.
