Borderlands 3 Will Close Trilogy Story Arc But “Definitely Isn’t The End”

Borderlands 3 is the third main installment in the gaming community favorite Borderlands series. And while it will end the current story arc, there are other stories that can be still told in the Borderlands universe. The writers said as much in an interview with DualShockers.
The interviewers asked if Borderlands 3 would be connected to the other parts, both main, and spin offs like “The Prequel” and “Tales from the Borderlands”.

Sam Winkler, Borderlands 3 lead writer said that it is “definitely a successor to all the games”.

This does tell us of its place in the continuity. Telling us of what to expect from it  he said

“(Borderlands 3 will) tie off some threads, have some new threads, and definitely isn’t the end of Borderlands in any way.”

Danny Homan, the other Lead writer, responded that “there is always room for more story in Borderlands,”. He explained that some things would be explained in the game, while new plot points will be introduced which can be further explored in sequels.

Borderlands 3, according to Winkler, will connect with the other two main installments in such a way that “they will see it as a saga together and whatever stories are beyond that, they’ll be connected,”

Borderlands 3 File Size Smaller Than Expected

Borderlands 3 might not take up as much space as people have been fearing.

The Xbox One page for Borderlands 3 shows a newly updated listing, where the download size shows up as 39.98 GB. While this is the size of most AAA games, considering the scale of Borderlands 3, many expected it to take up more than 60 GBs.

Even if there are small variations in a game’s download size on Xbox One and PS4, this helps in making an estimation. However, PS4 users should remember that the console asks users to have double the game’s size free for a download.

Epic Games has told us that in regards to PC, there won’t be a pre-load option before the September 10 release date. Therefore, the PC size will be revealed on that day.

Until then, all we can do is wait.
