Xbox Is Thinking About Surprise Additions To Xbox Game Pass Without Notice

It seems that Xbox is thinking about giving away free games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers without any prior notice.

The speculation comes from a Tweet and a series of replies that were made through the official Xbox Game Pass account on Twitter yesterday. And right off the bat, there are a couple of interesting things to note about the series of Tweets.

Oftentimes described as the “Netflix” of gaming, Microsoft allows players to play from a whole catalog of games from a range of publishers for free each month as long as they are subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass service. Back in July, Dead Rising 4, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Blazing Chrome, My Time In Portia, Timespinner, Unavowed, Undertale, and Lego City Undercover were made available for free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

However, at this point, it is difficult to know if Xbox is serious or not from the way the Tweets are worded. It is pretty clear that this is something Microsoft and Xbox are thinking about. But so far, we haven’t heard about it from any other sources. So, this is something that may or may not happen in the future.

Since all of this is speculation at this point, it is best to take all of it with at least a grain of salt.
