Square Enix Unveils The Playable Demos It Will Take To Gamescom 2019

Another one of the great attendees at the world-famous Cologne fair, Gamescom 2019, will be Square Enix and will showcase a small variety of playable demos.

The Japanese company will not miss the opportunity to attend the most important video game event in Europe to show the public everything it has prepared for the rest of the year and some announcements of titles that are still to come.

In this sense, the Japanese company will highlight the new Trials of Mana where it will make its world debut under a new demo.

On the other hand, and how could it be otherwise, Final Fantasy VII Remake will also make its appearance on stage. The title will be at Gamescom and both the press and the audience can test the title that will be put on sale next March 3, 2020.

This will be the first time that the title can be tested in Europe, and possibly its presence at the Cologne fair indicates that Square Enix could announce something else, maybe something big, in relation to the game.

Another expected game of the company is the much-anticipated Marvel’s Avengers. The E3 2019 reveal trailer and the A-Day trailer was the only glimpse of the game we got at E3 this year. A gameplay video was leaked at the San Diego Comic-Con, but no further important details have been revealed. Hopefully, with the playable demo, we will be able to see much more.

Here is the official press release from Square Enix:

In a worldwide first, fans at Gamescom 2019 will play a hands-on demo for MARVEL’S AVENGERS! Gamers at the Square Enix booth will battle as Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor experiencing the preliminary incident of this original Avengers story, launching on the 15th May 2020 simultaneously for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC.

For the first time in Europe, visitors will experience the highly anticipated FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, with a hands-on demo showcasing the reimagining of the iconic original game that re-defined the RPG genre. Across 72 stations, show attendees will get their first look at the game before its release for the PlayStation®4 system on 3rd March 2020.

It should also be remembered that all those lucky attendees of the event will be able to visit the company’s stand in Hall 9 between August 20 and 24.
