Marvel’s Avengers’ story is like living out your superhero dreams, according to the game’s Lead Producer Rose Hunt. The information comes from the September issue of PlayStation Magazine.

Rose Hunt said that Crystal Dynamics is doing what it does best, which is storytelling. In the case of Marvel Avengers, the developer is letting us experience different heroes. Further, Hunt said that the team is pulling on over 80 years of Marvel DNA to tell an original story in Avengers game. She also referred to the upcoming game as a love letter to Marvel fans.

In the end, Rose said that players we will be living out their superhero dream in upcoming Marvel’s Avengers video game.

We’re doing what Crystal does best, which is really telling a character-driven story, you know, letting you really experience these heroes. We’d like to say that you’re living out your superhero dream, said Rose Hunt.

In addition to this, Lead designer Philippe Therien told PlayStation that the game’s story spreads across the campaign, co-op and it will keep going after the game’s launch. Therien said that new regions and heroes will be added to the game post-launch.

With that said, there’s no doubt in the fact that Cyrstal Dynamics can deliver a great superhero and story experience with its upcoming game. The developer is going all-in to make sure that Avengers game is a hit. Crystal studio head Scott Amos recently said that Marvel’s Avengers is the biggest thing they have ever done, bigger than any Tomb Raider game.

A total of five studios are working on Avengers game including Eidos Montreal, Crystal Dynamics, Crystal Northwest Studio, Nixxes Software, Marvel Games, and Square Enix.

For those who don’t know, Marvel’s Avengers campaign is a single-player focused game with some side missions which you can play online with friends. The game was revealed by Crystal Dynamics at E3 2019 with a trailer. Interested folks can check out the announcement trailer of the game below.

Furthermore, the extended gameplay of Marvel’s Avengers game shown during Gamescom 2019 will be released to the public sometime in August.

Marvel’s Avengers will release on May 15, 2020, for Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players will also get a chance to try the game before its launch. The developer has confirmed that PlayStation 4 users will be able to play Marvel’s Avengers beta in early 2020.
