In Wolfenstein: Youngblood, having the right weapon upgrades is integral to your survival, as you will be facing many horrors. You can upgrade weapons individually by *spending Silver Coins* on them but due to their rarity, you need to choose the right ones. This Weapon Upgrades Guide explains how you can upgrade and mod weapons in Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood Weapon Upgrades
Silver Coins can be looted from the corpses of enemies and can also be found hidden behind crates or just lying wide open in the environment.
After collecting them, you need to open the Weapon Mods screen to see the different upgrade options available to you. If you are on the PS4 then hit the touchpad, otherwise, if you are playing on an Xbox One then select ‘Options’.
Select the weapon you want to improve in the “Weapons” section to get the “Mod” options. You can update certain weapons piece-by-piece e.g. Stock, Receiver, Magazine, etc. Just right-click the part you want to modify and you will get the full list of available upgrades.
Applying the Weapon Mods
The Weapon Mods in this game are divided into three different categories:
- Stier: Improves raw damage.
- Tempo: Improves your rate of fire.
- Nadel: Improves the damage inflicted through headshots.
You can apply these to any of the 5 components of a gun and purchase more in that category later. This covers the basics of upgrading your weapons in Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
