Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta

Yes, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta is happening. It was recently confirmed by Call of Duty official website. Hardcore Call of Duty fans saw some changes on the official Call of Duty site a few hours ago.

On July 30, it was discovered that if you tried to go to callofduty.com/beta, the page automatically redirected to profile.callofduty.com/modern warfare/beta which then gave an error because the link was not officially live. It was clearly a mistake by Infinity Ward thus it was fixed shortly. But it clearly tells that Modern Warfare 2019 beta is emerging. If you go to callofduty.com/beta now, it redirects you to /blackops4/beta.

Whenever it arrives, players will be able to try out some of the online modes of the next Call of Duty game. Do keep in mind that Call of Duty Betas are focused on online features of the game only. It’s possible that IW will let players try out some Spec Op missions in the upcoming beta along with online multiplayer.

Like every other year, Modern Warfare Beta will feature limited weapons, perks, and maps. This is done to give you a taste of what’s coming.

The Beta access will be most likely available to those players who pre-ordered the game. However, Infinity Ward might also allow everyone to try beta without pre-order at a later date. Further, it’s worth telling that Call of Duty Betas usually appear as free on different PlayStation Region Stores so keep on looking.

With that said, it’s time to talk about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta dates.  It’s safe to assume that the beta will take place during August similar to Black Ops 4’s beta last year.

According to a famous leaker aka The Gaming Revolution, Modern Warfare 2019 Beta will start on August 20 staring with Sony PlayStation 4 users. Other platforms including Xbox One and PC will be able to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta on August 27.

Of course, the aforementioned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta dates are not official yet and should be taken with a grain of salt. As for the question why PS4 users will get to play Modern Warfare Reboot beta early? It’s because of the partnership between Sony and Activision.

With that said, all we have to do now is wait until Infinity Ward official announces the beta. Infinity Ward will most like announce beta dates tommorow during the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal is set for 8/1 at 10 AM PT. We will make sure to update you guys with the official beta dates so stay tuned.
