PES 2020 Head Adam Bhatti Responds to Exclusivity Issues

The brand manager Adam Bhatti of PES 2020 has finally adressed the criticism of team exclusivity in the upcoming game in a series of Tweets.

The brand manager Adam Bhatti of PES 2020 has finally replied to criticism of team exclusivity in the upcoming game.

In case you don’t know already, it was recently announced by Konami that Juventus Football Club (Italian professional football club) will be available exclusively in PES 2020. As a result, Juventus will be now called Piemonte Calcio in FIFA 20. This sudden change of team resulted in football fans criticizing Konami.

In response, Adam Bhatti of PES took it to Twitter to unveil the company’s point of view to the public. Bhatti said that the team understands that claiming exclusive license is bad for consumers but it’s something that Konami has always dealt with, indirectly referring to EA Sports. In addition to this, Bhatti is also very proud of the fact that Juventus decided to partner with them instead of EA Sports.

I understand those who complain that exclusives are bad for users. I would like to live in a world where everything is shared and it is only the quality of the game that speaks. However, we have always had to deal with this type of situation. For example, having the Premier League in PES 2020 would have been fantastic. The big teams, however, want to feel part of a real partnership, not that their name is bought just to take something away from the competition.

Afterward, Bhatti said that everyone knows that they cannot spend more money than EA Sports. Instead, the team focuses on recreating players and quality.

It’s apparent that Bhatti wants to send a message to EA because of the company’s attitude in recent years. There’s no doubt that EA has snatched some big licenses from Pro Evolution Soccer in the past. Last year, PES 2019 lost Borussia Dortmund to FIFA 19.

In short, the war of PES vs FIFA is not going to end anytime soon. Of course, EA Sports FIFA players will not be happy with the removal of Juventus from the game. However, PES 2020 players will be very excited to know about this change. If you ask me, it’s good news that Konami is finally trying to stand against EA to make it clear that they are not going anywhere regardless of the past.

If you are a player like me then the removal of Juventus from FIFA 20 will not be a huge deal to you. Because Piemonte Calcio in FIFA 20 will consist of original Juventus players. EA has confirmed that real-world players, including authentic names and faces, will be used in the Piemonte Calcio in FIFA 20 and FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.

We can do nothing but wait to see how the exclusivity of Juventus will affect PES this year. PES 2020 release date is set for September 10, 2019, on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.

Like every previous year, we can expect PES 2020 demo to release on PS4 and other platforms a few weeks before the official release of the game.
