Gearbox recently released a new Borderlands 3 trailer to unveil things that are hidden in Area 51. In case you have been living under a rock, Area 51 raid event, which started on Facebook was trending all over the internet the past few weeks. Many companies took advantage of the situation to advertise their products and Gearbox is one of them.
2K Games and Gearbox published a short video Borderlands 3 trailer full of humor on all social media accounts. The video reveals that Area 51 is home to walking weapons, which players will be able to use in Borderlands 3.

Of course, the video is simple humor and used to advertise walking weapons that will be available in Borderlands 3. As seen in previous trailers of the game, these walking guns will also shout insults at your enemies in the game.
In addition to this, the developer has confirmed that Borderlands 3 will feature more guns than any previous games in the game. According to Gearbox, the game will feature a total of one billion gun variations.
Furthermore, the upcoming game will also feature previous weapon manufacturers and brand loyalty system. Below is the list of upcoming weapon brands in Borderlands 3.

Players can now pre-order the game from retail stores and digitally via PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.
Borderlands 3 Season Pass is now also available for pre-order. According to the game’s site, season pass of the game will include post-launch DLC packs along with some Butt Stallion goodies.

- 4 campaign DLC packs featuring new stories, missions, and challenges
- Butt Stallion weapon skin
- Butt Stallion weapon trinket
- Butt Stallion grenade mod
The Season Pass can be purchased separately or available with the purchase of the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition and Borderlands 3 Collector’s Edition.
Upcoming Borderlands game will also feature a multiplayer mode. In addition to this, the developer has revealed that the team is working on the cross-platform feature but it will not be available at launch. There’s no Borderlands 3 beta planned yet by the developer.
Borderlands 3 is scheduled to release on September 13, 2019, for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. The game will be exclusive to Epic’s storefront until April 2020. On the other hand, Steam users will have to wait until 2020 to play Borderlands 3.
