Dragon Quest 11 S Story Expansion Explained By Square Enix On Official Website

Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age is coming to the Nintendo Switch, but players that buy it aren’t going to be getting the same amount of content as in the original version. This time, the Dragon Quest 11 S story content will be increasing to include the party members.

This will be possible through the updated re-release entitled the Definitive Edition, which will be adding content into the story of the game. According to the Square Enix website, the Definitive Edition makeover will be adding new quests for each party member.

This means that in the new Dragon Quest 11 S story branches, your party will each get personalized missions to allow them to take the lead in varying stories. For instance, Erik will be captured in a monster hideout and have to break out with a Healslime named Homirin. Sylvando visits Gondolia, and takes action against the thieves preying on its citizens. Jade is imprisoned in another world by Booga when she visits Octogonia, and Hendrick apparently finds Jasper in Heliodor Castle. Some party members will make their own party, while others will go it alone.

The original Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age game launched in July and September of last year. Now that the game is coming to the Switch (since originally it was only released on the Nintendo 3DS), hopefully the game will get more players.

Considering it’s seen by many critics as one of the best Dragon Quest games, alongside the Luminary being one of the multiple Dragon Quest heroes being added to Super Smash Bros Ultimate, all the focus around the new game might make it even more popular.

If you want to see more of the Dragon Quest 11 S story that’s been added in the game’s Definitive Edition, then you can buy Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch on September 27.
