It’s fine to like Call of Duty and FIFA video games even if they don’t change much every year. But Since we remember, there’s been an argument over which game series is better, FIFA or Call of Duty. To make things clear, a Sports site recently asked 38,800 people to choose between the two titles to settle the argument for once and all.
Despite the difference in both video games, FIFA franchise came on top and beat Call of Duty in the recent poll held by GiveMeSport. You can check out the results of the poll below.
The results are impressive because Call of Duty and FIFA came on top among other famous video games series like Grand Theft Auto, Halo, World of Warcraft, Fortnite, Super Mario and Pokemon which got knocked out in the early stages of the poll.
As for the question that how FIFA overcome Call of Duty in the poll, it’s because of the personal preferences of gamers. Both games cannot be compared to each other. FIFA is football simulator and Call of Duty is a first-person shooter.
Basically, players who like sports are more into FIFA video games developed by EA Sports. Those players who prefer FPS action games choose to play Call of Duty games like Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 2 and the latest Black Ops 4.
In FIFA, players get to play with their dream teams, the team they love, play against their friends online or in the same room to experience rivalry, pressure and everything that a Sports fan likes.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty games are filled with actions, bullet noises, footsteps, intense music loading screens, re-loading animations, and they provide you with the closest feeling of how it’s like to be a soldier in real.
However, in the end, both games are entertainment products and the developers acknowledge their audiences and try to provide exactly what is required. So it’s completely okay if you like to play both games or only one.
Personally, I love to play FIFA with my friends in a room but Call of Duty for me is like endless fun even with randoms due to the smooth matchmaking options, weapons, and game modes inside.
Those people who voted for FIFA should be excited for FIFA 20, which is scheduled to release on September 27, 2019, for Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4 and PC.
This year, FIFA 20 will arrive with Volta mode which is basically a FIFA Street mode. The new Volta mode in FIFA 20 can be played in 3v3 Rush (without goalies) 4v4, 4v4 Rush, 5v5, and professional futsal.
Volta matches will take place in different arenas and environments, some of them will have walls and some won’t. Other new features and improvements in FIFA 20 include authentic game flow, better AI, new ball physics and more.
On the other hand, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 is scheduled to release on October 25 for Microsoft Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 is now available for pre-order with different editions including Standard Edition, Collector’s Edition and more. In addition to this, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gameplay reveal is scheduled for tomorrow at 10 AM PST.
Should you play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or FIFA 20 this year? The choice is yours.
