Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Full Demo Released, 26 Minutes Of Footage

The Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order full demo was released on YouTube today, showing off a large amount of stuff that we didn’t get to see much of when the game was shown off at E3. The video also included a message from game director Stig Asmussen at Respawn Entertainment.

The new bit essentially follows the same pattern as the original snippet we saw at EA Play, but with a large amount of other details added on, such as the start of the mission and a variety of new actions we didn’t get to see at EA Play.

In the Fallen Order full demo, protagonist Cal Kestis starts out instead swimming up a river in Kashyyyk as a group of AT-AT walkers advance on a position held by rebels under Saw Gerrera, who players may remember from either the Star Wars Clone Wars and Rebels cartoons, or the Rogue One movie.

However, we also get to see Kestis’s ship, the Mantis, along with his two crewmates, Cere and Greez. Here we see that the unshown “Metroidvania” portion of the game appears to be true, as the Mantis also has a holotable where multiple planets are shown, and Cal can apparently decide to walk onto the ship and leave at any time.

The rest of the Fallen Order full demo follows the EA Play portion, with Cal making his way past stormtroopers and multiple Purge Troopers before being accosted by a KX droid, who you might also recognize from Rogue One.

Along with the demo, we also got a message from game director Stig Asmussen, which talks about the process behind picking the area of the game used for the demo and their thought process behind it. If you want to see the demo for yourself, you can follow this link. Otherwise, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comes out on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on November 15 of this year.
