Watch Dogs Legion Co-Op Uses Up To Four Players, Endgame Content, More

A new blurb as part of the press release for the new Watch Dogs game has announced Watch Dogs Legion co-op play, allowing you to take up to three of your friends out into London with you to cause chaos in the name of freedom. Watch Dogs Legion releases March 6, 2020.

Watch Dogs Legion takes place in the near future, where London and the United Kingdom have been turned upside down by the iron-fisted rule of the private military company Albion, and the fanatics in power in the government.

The hacktivist group DedSec, however, is coordinating a resistance to strike back and free London, and with the Watch Dogs Legion co-op setup, you and your friend scan help with that beyond the game’s story mode.

The game’s multiplayer mode allows you to take on various co-op missions and challenges, along with end-game content. The co-op mode will also have regular support, with new online modes, rewards, and themed events coming with each new update.

The other Watch Dogs games have also previously had multiplayer, where you could run around Chicago and San Francisco with friends and do various missions together, or just run around causing chaos.

Unfortunately despite the press release blurb that announced Watch Dogs Legion co-op, there isn’t much to go on for how exactly the co-op mechanic will work or what all you’ll be able to do in it.

You’ll likely have the run of a huge part of real-life London, and your missions might be roughly the same as the missions from the previous Watch Dogs games, involving infiltration, attacking criminal gangs or groups of mercenaries, and more.

Either way, if you want to hopefully see more about the Watch Dogs Legion co-op gameplay, stay tuned to Ubisoft’s social media, or right here on our own website, until Watch Dogs Legion comes out on March 6 of 2020 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
