Game Informer July Cover Revealed, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Is Focus

The Game Informer July cover has been revealed just today on the magazine’s website, showing that next month the magazine will be talking all about Respawn’s upcoming game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Fifteen pages of the magazine will be given over to the game, with E3 coverage taking the rest.

Jedi: Fallen Order got its first trailer at Celebration 2019 back in April, after previously being revealed at E3 2018 in a rather awkward interview with a Respawn Entertainment dev during EA’s press conference. However, now we’re getting into the actual meat of the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order places gamers in the role of a former Padawan named Cal Kestis, who is trying to lay low and hide his Jedi heritage following the rise of the Empire and the destruction of the Jedi Order.

However, after using the Force to save a coworker, he finds himself on the run with the Inquisition (the double-bladed lightsaber-wielding Dark Jedi from the Star Wars: Rebels cartoon) hot on his heels, and forced to once again learn to be a Jedi.

The Game Informer July cover isn’t the only thing we’ll be seeing of the game. The fifteen pages that Fallen Order’s information will take up include things like exclusive details, screenshots, and concept art, and tomorrow will also have a rapid-fire interview with development head Stig Asmussen.

Considering Respawn Entertainment’s universally acclaimed campaign mode for Titanfall 2, hopefully they’ll be able to work the same magic into Fallen Order. We’ll be able to see more gameplay when EA Play begins tomorrow, where we’ll be shown gameplay at 9:30 A.M., Pacific Time.

While the Game Informer July cover is all about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, you’ll also be able to find a lot of information about the other games revealed during this week and E3 inside the magazine. Either way, be sure to stay tuned to E3 happenings either here or elsewhere on the Internet.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be releasing November 15 of this year on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. You can see the Celebration trailer here.
