E3 is coming closer and closer, and some publishers are already jumping the gun. Three new THQ Nordic games are going to be getting announced over the next three days, though whether we’ll get more information about them at E3 remains unknown. Exactly what these games might be is also unknown.
THQ Nordic has made its name since it first revealed itself by taking up various lost THQ properties and studios and continuing the series. They did it with Darksiders 3, and rumors are abounding about what other games they could use.
Various hints have been dropped by the studio as to what these new THQ Nordic games will be. They’ve hinted at reviving more old properties, with one being promised as an “out of this world” experience. This possibly hints at the return of Pandemic’s “Destroy All Humans.”
However, what other games might be announced by THQ Nordic remain to be seen as of yet. We don’t even know if it will be Destroy All Humans, though that series was quite popular when it released for the first time back in 2005.
There are a number of older THQ properties that were popular in their day that THQ Nordic could re-release, but there’s far too many of them to accurately guess. There might not even be three remasters to begin with; the other two could be original IPs.
After all, along with Darksiders 3, THQ Nordic also announced Biomutant, an action game and original IP that still has yet to be released. Hopefully along with these three new THQ Nordic games, we’ll be able to get a release date for that and any other games coming.
However these games turn out, you’ll be able to catch the reveals of the new THQ Nordic games tomorrow at 4 P.M. CET, 10 P.M. EST, Thursday at 7 P.M. CET, 2 P.M. EST, and Friday at 7 P.M. CET, 2 P.M. EST.
