Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has 3 Professions which can be changed at any time by you. Each Profession has certain abilities. In our Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Professions Guide, we will go through all of them in detail.

  1. Auror: Specialty in attack and competent against Dark Foes.
  2. Magizoologist: Specialty in health and resources, competent against Beasts.
  3. Professor: A balanced combination of both that is competent against Curiosities.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Professions

You can level up in your Profession by earning and then spending Scrolls and Spell Books. Scrolls can be earned by opening Trace Reward Chests and Spell Books can be earned by opening Wizarding Challenges Reward Chests.

You can also earn Scrolls and Spell Books by collecting Foundables and improving your rank in the Foundables Registries.

Player Stats

You can see your characters Player Stats displayed under each Profession. Player Stats improve as you advance in the skill tree. It also shows any enhancements you’ve obtained by completing skills.

  • Stamina: Your health during combat.
  • Power: How much damage you inflict during combat.
  • Protego Power: Effectiveness of Protego defence during combat.
  • Precision: Increases your Critical hit chance.
  • Critical Power: How powerful your Critical hits are.
  • Proficiency Power: Makes you more powerful against some enemies.
  • Deficiency Defence: Increases defence against enemies you’re weaker to.
  • Defence: Increases defense.
  • Defence Breach: Ups your ability to lower energy defenses.
  • Accuracy: Increases chances of hitting target.
  • Maximum Focus: More Focus to spend while doing Wizarding Challenges.
  • Initial Focus: Enables you to have more Focus before starting a Wizarding Challenge.

Auror Skill Tree

This is one of the 3 Professions in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. There’s currently only one skill tree or sequence of lessons available for Aurors and it’s called “Auror Fundamentals”.

It has 138 locked points which you can complete to unlock and Level up your Profession.

“Aurors are combat veterans who defeat Foes by combining their innate leadership with a litany of debilitating spells. Aurors are most effective against Dark Forces.”

This makes Aurors a good Profession choice for you if you want to mainly play solo because they’re good at combat and also good at fighting against Oddities. They’re competent in Combat but do better with support from a team.
