Fable 4 Listing Appears on Mixer, Announcement at E3 Confirmed?

Fable 4 listing has appeared on Microsoft’s Mixer platform, suggesting that the new entry in Fable series will be announced soon. There have been various rumors in the past that Playground Games is working on Fable 4.

Last year, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer confirmed that Playground Games is working on an open-world RPG, making everyone believe that it is Fable IV. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet by the developer or the publisher.

The Mixer listing makes us somewhat believe that the game will be announced at E3 2019. This listing was discovered by a Reddit user. According to him, Fable IV is now appearing in the search bar along with Fable 3 and other titles from the series. It’s possible that it doesn’t mean anything as it could be nothing but a mistake.

Microsoft’s Mixer provides an autofill of game titles for the streamers to choose from, so apparently, mention of Fable 4 could be more than a mistake. That is the reason why Fable series fans are now expecting to see the new installment in the franchise being announced at E3 2019.

This leak also aligns with recent rumors of Fable 4 being announced at E3 2019. The most recent leak comes from an industry insider, who claims to know about the entire plan of Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference.

According to the leak, Fable reboot will be announced at E3. Further, the leak mentioned that the upcoming Fable game will not arrive on Xbox One because it will be a next-generation title.

If the leak is to be believed, fans will get to see the next Fable at Electronic Entertainment Expo with a trailer. Moreover, the game will arrive in 2021 after the launch of next-gen consoles. Since nothing has been officially confirmed by Playground Games, all of the provided information should be treated as a rumor for now.

That said, it’s safe to assume that a new Fable game is in development. All that’s left for us to know is when it’ll be shown, which is why we are expecting to hear about the game at E3 this year. To find out, tune in to Microsoft’s press conference on June 9 at 1:00 pm PT.
