Microsoft has recently announced the next batch of games to be added to the Xbox subscription service known as the Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox Game Pass new games are Metal Gear Survive and Dead by Daylight. These are just two in the roster of the Xbox Game Pass for June 2019.
The Xbox Game Pass was introduced back in 2017 and has been described as the Netflix for video games. This is due to the free games it provides based on subscriptions, similar to movies.
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical 4v1 horror game that’s usually available for $29.99 on the Microsoft Store. The Xbox Game Pass price is under $15, so you’re getting a 50% discount essentially alongside having access to a few other games.
In Dead by Daylight, you play as either the savage killer hunting for escaping victims, or as the camp goers trying to escape the death maze. Recently, Ash Williams was confirmed to be joining the roster as well.
The other prominent title joining the line-up of Xbox Game Pass games is Metal Gear Survive. Metal Gear Survive was Konami’s continuation of the Metal Gear series after Kojima left. The game didn’t do well at all but I’m sure people are still curious if they haven’t played it.
The curiosity would normally cost them though, which is why the Xbox Game Pass is a good way to test out Metal Gear Survive without spending too much. Who knows, one may like it?
Here’s an exact list of the new Xbox Game Pass games for June 2019:
- Dead by Daylight
- Metal Gear Survive
- The Banner Saga 2
- Full Metal Furies
- Outer Wilds
- The Banner Saga
- Void Bastards
All of these games will be available thanks to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service for the price of $14.99. The release dates of each game on the service spread throughout June.
It’s a good chance to pick-up the Banner Saga in my opinion.
