Call Of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale Unveiled By Activision, Betas Continue Abroad

Activision finally gave out some gameplay footage of the Call of Duty Mobile battle royale game that will be coming to mobile phones at some point in the future. The mode, which is being custom built for mobile devices, will be featuring a new map filled with locations from many games.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 experienced a pretty big boom in player numbers when it joined the battle royale genre in the form of Call of Duty: Blackout. Now, however, Activision is expanding its horizons by making another Call of Duty battle royale for this mobile game.

We’ve already heard from various other leaks and sources that along with the Call of Duty: Mobile battle royale mode, the game will also include zombies. However, we haven’t had a widespread beta yet. Currently the only betas are in Australia and India.

The game is still in early development after all, so it’s not really a surprise that there hasn’t been a widespread Call of Duty: Mobile battle royale beta. Hopefully we’ll gain more information on when an actual beta will be arriving at E3.

Call of Duty veterans that played Blackout will likely be able to find some familiarity in the mobile battle royale game, but since this was built from the ground up for mobile devices it will still be rather different.

Players will be able to go into a game either in first person or third person. Teammates can be revived through dogtag retrieval, which will cause them to parachute out of a plane and down in your direction.

Players can also expect the battle royale map to have a number of settings taken from other Call of Duty games like Modern Warfare 1 and 2, and Black Ops 1 and 2. These include maps like Nuketown, Diner, Estate, Pipeline, Shipment, Standoff, and more.
