A Plague Tale: Innocence Chapter 6 Walkthrough
Before we begin, do note that Chapter 6: Damaged Goods mainly has 4 objectives:
- Find Hugo
- Free Hugo
- Leave Camp
- Survive the Escape
Following is the detail of each one of these objectives:
A Plague Tale: Innocence Chapter 6 starts with Amicia and the two raiders, namely Melie and Arthur having been taken prisoners by some of the soldiers with Hugo missing.
In the first part of the chapter, Melie and Arthur manage to free Amicia and escape the imprisonment and you’re tasked with finding Hugo.
This is the main objective of the chapter and it requires a lot of stealth and patience. Since Amicia has been relieved of her equipment, you’re going to have to work without it for the most part.
Relying on Melie to follow her through the camp and Arthur for the distraction will be the best way to survive this.
After escaping the soldiers, follow Melie very closely and she’ll lead you behind a wooden fence where a guard is stationed. As soon as Arthur is ready for the distraction, Melie will ask you which way to throw the stone.
Tell him to throw it at the cart upon which the guard will look away and you’ll be able to move on.
Moving on, you’ll encounter another guard situation. There will be a barrel near the guard and some spears to the left of it. Tell Arthur to throw a stone at it and leave there in the distraction.
You’ll pass a tent with a guard asleep there on the ground. Keep moving and Melie will lead you to a grass patch. Hiding there, you’ll have to distract a third guard by throwing a rock at the pot.
This will allow you to enter a red and white tent with a chest inside. You’ll find useful crafting material in it.
After that, leave the tent and follow Melie through the canteen area to the wood factory. Hugo is being kept here but guards surround him and you won’t yet be able to free him.
In a while, the soldiers will find out that you’ve escaped and they’ll spread out. This will be the opportunity to free him.
When the guards have dispersed, go near the cage in the factory and unchain the cage to free Hugo.
Having been reunited with Hugo, head towards the exit of the camp. Try not to be spotted, be stealthy, and eliminate any guard as soon as they spot you.
If you should choose to be un-stealthy and kill the guards, you’ll have time to scavenge for useful crafting material and roam around a while.
Either way, you’ve to exit the camp. As soon as you do, a cutscene will begin with Sir Nicholas out to kill the two of you. You’re going to have to run for your lives and survive your escape of the camp.
Surviving the Escape
This time stealth is not an option and you’ll have to kill as many soldiers as possible to make your way out safely. Equip a rock with your sling as soon as possible and start aiming at the soldiers.
Always go for a headshot, as that is your best chance at survival.
Keep moving down the path you’re on and you’ll find a wooden structure at the end of it. Climb up the ladder and let Melie pick the lock. Kill the guards in your way and proceed down the hatchet with the chain.
Soon afterward, the guards will open the gate at start coming at you at a great pace. You’ve to eliminate them with quick headshots as they are coming fast and don’t have helmets on. You’ve had to take them out quickly and as many as possible.
This will be your way out and as soon as all of you’ve left the camp, the chapter will end.
