Rage 2 Projects Guide – Basic, Search & Recover, Capture & Control, Kill & Destroy

Rage 2 throws the protagonist Walker into a Wasteland where he has to struggle to survive. The Wasteland contains numerous threats so Walker has to avail everything at his disposal to deal with them. Apart from various weapons and a good number of upgradable vehicles, Walker can also unlock some Passive Abilities called Projects.

Projects in Rage 2 work in a similar way to the skill tree system we’ve witnessed in many games. However, Rage 2 Project System has a little flair of its own.

While at the core, it works in a similar manner as any other skill tree system i.e. earn Project Points and invest them into the Project System, it diverges from the others in the sense that you’ve to find certain NPCs in order to avail them and each NPC has different Project Skills to offer.

Rage 2 Projects

Another minor detail to keep in mind is that there are multiple NPCs that offer different types of projects and each one has to be leveled up separately in order to access different projects offered by them.

Other than that, it’s pretty much a typical skill tree. The Project Points are collected by doing numerous tasks during your campaign and the first set of Projects become available to purchase from Lily after you are done with the tutorial.

Other than Lily, there are three more NPCs offering Project Perks, they can be found further into the campaign.

Projects

There are only 5 basic Projects, each cost 1 point. The Projects offered by other NPCs are divided into 4 tiers. The higher the tier, the more beneficial the Project is. Naturally, better-tiered Project also cost more.
