Hideo Kojima Teases New Death Stranding Poster On Twitter

Hideo Kojima is at it again with the relentless teasing of Death Stranding to people desperate for any kinds of leaks at all. Recently he deleted a Tweet with a new Death Stranding trailer screenshot. Now he’s at it again with a Death Stranding poster tease via Twitter.

The new Death Stranding posture hides a few cast member names. This has thrust the internet into a storm of speculation and theories regarding who else is onboard Death Stranding.

Out of the hidden names, we can identify Mads Mikkelsen and Troy Baker. We also know about Norman Reedus being the main protagonist, but what about the others?

Hideo Kojima has been very secretive thus far about Death Stranding. Whether this is on Sony orders or his own way of generating hype for the PS4 exclusive is unknown. This Death Stranding poster might be the last info for a good while.

It’s come to a point where we’re not even sure if Death Stranding will actually release on the PlayStation 4 or not. Some are theorizing a PlayStation 5 release if the Death Stranding release date is pushed too far ahead.

All we know about the game in its current state is that it’s an absolute mindfuck. We’ve been told by Hideo Kojima in interviews that the game heavily focuses on the concept of life after death in video games. We also know that players will be globally connected around the world as well. Actual info about the synopsis, setting, and characters is still yet to be revealed.

Sony won’t be coming to E3 either so don’t expect anything Death Stranding related at that conference. The only source of info we can hope to see from anywhere is Hideo Kojima himself.

We know that the game is now in a playable state and that a lot of directors and other people in the video game industry are very big fans of the game so far.

A Death Stranding release date remains unconfirmed, however.
