Rage 2 Has Gone Gold, To Run at 60 FPS on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro

Bethesda Softworks has now officially announced that Rage 2 has gone gold, meaning that the game’s development has now ended and it’s ready to be shipped later this month. Rage 2 was announced almost a year ago by Avalanche Studios with a trailer.

In addition to this reveal of game’s gold status, Bethesda unveiled system requirements for the game on PC along with frame rate details for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

On Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PS4, Rage 2 will run at 1080p with a frame rate limit set at 30 FPS. As for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, the frame rate limit is increased up to 60 FPS because the team focused has on speed and fluency, according to Bethesda.

As expected, PC users will be able to play the latest entry in Rage series at any resolution and without any capped framerates depending on your PC’s hardware. Rage 2’s release date is set for May 14, 2019, on all platforms. The game’s file size is around 30 GB on Xbox One, according to Microsoft Store. The game is an online always experience but you can still play it offline.
