New GTA 6 Leaked Information Suggests Multiple Cities

According to a leaked Pastebin file, Rockstar’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 will be set across multiple cities and will be only for next-gen platforms like Sony’s PlayStation 5. Although the file doesn’t mention a release date for GTA 6, it is quite interesting and dives into info such as story, map details, and certain gameplay elements.

The mysterious Pastebin file first appeared on 21st April 2019. It wasn’t until 30th April that the file started circulating on the web and then mysteriously got deleted.

If you open the link to the Pastebin file, the website will show “This page is no longer available. It has either expired, been removed by its creator, or removed by one of the Pastebin staff.”

A Reddit user who shared the Pastebin file link on Reddit suggests Rockstar might be the one behind the take-down.

As the Redditor suggests, the only reason for Rockstar Games to remove the file would be if the information was true. There are already many rumors circulating on the web regarding GTA 6 and Rockstar never takes them down.

However, the information provided by the leak is very interesting. The leak claims GTA 6 map will have “multiple big cities which players can travel across”. Of course, Grand Theft Auto 6 fans will remember San Andreas where the map had three major interconnected cities Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas.

The leak suggests Rockstar is doing something different with GTA 6’s map where two or more cities will be based on the east coast USA, with Liberty City (NYC) and Vice City (Miami).

It is likely that Rockstar will expand the cities design just like they did with GTA 5’s Los Santos.

Even though the leaked information doesn’t dive into much detail as far as the GTA 6’s story is concerned, the info is very intriguing.

“You will start as a small time guy in Liberty city doing odd chores and small-time thefts and eventually work your way to Vice city where you will join a famous gang.” The leak says your goal is to become ‘the drug lord’.

The leaked file also mentioned Rockstar will release GTA 6 only for next-gen consoles such as Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 5.

According to what the leak says, GTA 6’s story sounds similar to what many movies and games have done already such as Scarface and even previous GTA titles. Whether or not this information turns out to be true is yet to be seen. Since this information is neither confirmed nor denied, it is best to take it with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates.

GTA 6 is an open world action-adventure game being developed by Rockstar, rumored to release on next-gen consoles and PC with a 2021 release date.
