Days Gone Ambush Camp Locations Guide – Find Herbology Plants and Historical Markers

Ambush Camps in Days Gone give shelter to enemies other than the Freakers. Clearing out these Ambush Camps will clear the fog over your map and you’ll be able to see other locations on the map for your further escapades. In addition to that, you’ll be rewarded with crafting recipes. There is a total of 14 Ambush Camps in Days Gone that you’ve to clear in order to get the rewards and associated Trophies.

Days Gone Ambush Camp Locations

First, you’ll need to clear out the enemies from the Ambush Camps and then reaching inside the bunker. The locations have been detailed for you down below.

Do note that it’s best to rely on stealth in order to clear out these Ambush Camps. Moreover, clearing them will show the locations of Herbology Plants and Historical Markers on your map.

There are a total of three Ambush Camps in this Cascade:

Ambush Camp #1 – Cascade Radio Tower
You visit this location anyway as a part of your mission in Copeland’s camp. The bunker for this location is inside the shack across the tall tower.

Ambush Camp #2 – Jefferson Rail Tunnel
Another location in the Ambush Camp you’ll visit for clearing. The bunker in this location will be found easily as the area has a load of enemies.

Ambush Camp #3 – Horse Creek
This will be your final location in the Cascade region. Visit the location and clean the place out of enemies. The bunker for this location that you will be instructed to visit will be under the power pole.

There are three total Ambush Camps in Belknap region.

Ambush Camp #4 – Black Crater
The area will be filled with Rippers. Clear out the enemies and then visit the bunker for this location that you can find near the bonfire – at the back of the camp.

Ambush Camp #5 – Belknap Caves
Visit this location and get rid of the enemies there. The bunker for this location will be found over the cave under which the Freakers sleep.

Ambush Camp #6 – Bear Creek Hot Springs
The area is north of the Belknap location. The bunker for this location will be in front of the mountain that is near the camp.

Lost Lake consists of only two Ambush Camps.

Ambush Camp #7 – Deerborn
The location for the camp is on the east side of the region while the bunker for this location is where all the enemy camps are.

Ambush Camp #8 – Berley Lake
The location is at the south of the region and the bunker is located near some rocks that are across the camp with a big blue barrel.

Iron Butte has two Ambush Camps in Days Gone.

Ambush Camp #9 – Wagon Road
You’ll find the camp on the east side of the region. The bunker for this location is inside the gate for the tunnel where the fire is glowing.

Ambush Camp #10 – Redwood RV Park
The camp is at the southwest side of the region and near the fencing is the bunker for this location.

Crater Lake consists of two Ambush Camps.

Ambush Camp #11 – Spruce Lake
The location for this camp is near the Nero Checkpoint and the bunker for this camp is in the tent.

Ambush Camp #12 – Cascade Lakes Railway
The location is in the snowy fields of the area and the bunker location is near the railway track near the upgrade boxes.

Highway 97 is your last region that consists of two Ambush Camps.

Ambush Camp #13 – Aspen Butte
This camp in Highway 97 is at the north side of the Chemult Community College. Just walk straight and soon you’ll reach the location. The bunker for the location is in the room where the enemies spawn. The bunker is in front of the shelf.

Ambush Camp #14 – Bare Bay
This is the last Camp of the Ambush Camp Hunter questline. This location for this camp is near the Swamp and the bunker for this location is near the skull on your minimap. It’ll be in front of the camp.

With clearing all these areas, you’ll be completing the Ambush Camp Hunter questline and will be achieving the Trophy for the mission.
