GeForce GTX 1650 has been in the new for quite some time and by this point, it’s almost confirmed that the GPU will launch soon. Now, listings for the aforementioned GPU have popped up at Amazon along with its specs.
Amazon France listed two variants of custom EGA GTX 1650 GPUs. If the listings are to be believed then the GPU will cost around $149. Interestingly, this isn’t the only leak regarding the GPU.
Another site leaked the full specs for the upcoming Nvidia GTX 1650. Reportedly, the GPU is based on the Turing architecture, TU117 SKU to be specific, which isn’t surprising since GTX 1660 and 1660 Ti are also based on the Turing architecture.
Furthermore, the GPU comes with 896 CUDA and compared to GTX 1050 Ti, its 128 CUDA cores more. Also, the GPU features 56 TMUs and 32 ROPs. As for the VRAM, the GeForce GTX 1650 features 4 GB of GDDR5 memory with 8 Gbps memory bandwidth at 128-bit bus.
However, these specs reveal a huge difference between GTX 1660 and GTX 1650. There is a possibility that Nvidia will also launch GTX 1650 Ti to bridge that gap.
Given that this is just a leak, take it with a grain of salt. But, with so many leaks and rumors, it’s almost confirmed that Nvidia is preparing to launch GTX 1650.
Nvidia brought real-time Ray Tracing to video games with its RTX 20 series GPUs. These GPUs feature RT Cores which handle all of the Ray Tracing operations.
However, Nvidia has introduced Ray Tracing for GTX 10 series and GTX 16 series GPUs. Meaning if you own at least GTX 1060 then you can play games with Ray Tracing enabled.
But don’t get excited as these GPUs aren’t equipped to handle real-time Ray Tracing and video games are unplayable on these GPUs with ray tracing.
Interestingly, before Nvidia officially introduced this feature to its non-RTX GPUs, PC enthusiasts managed to enable ray tracing on Nvidia Titan V and the GPU is more than capable of running games with ray tracing enabled.
Nvidia is the GPU market leader and during the cryptocurrency mining craze, the company introduced mining-specific GPUs. These GPUs don’t have any display ports and can’t be used for gaming but, modders have found a way around that.
